Brooks 1st Birthday.

Saturday the 21st was Brooks official 1st birthday! We had a little get together with our family and friends. It was so great to take a break from moving for a few hours and have a BBQ. The weather wasn't as nice as I was hoping, but it was in Hurricane and if the wind isn't blowing over there then it's a freakin miracle ;). I'm not sure Brooks knew what to think about all the people, especially when everyone was gathered around singing and watching him to see if he was going to dive into his cake. Which by the way he really didn't... he kind of got his hands in it and didn't really like all the icing and stickiness on his fingers. We forgot the high chair so I held him on my lap. By the time we were finished, we were both sticky and covered in icing :) He got a lot of great toys and he goes crazy when they are all out, he just goes back and forth from each one. More pictures will be posted soon. Pat and I were a little preoccupied with the video camera. Luckily our family members had there cameras out for the cake and presents :)
