There is a place where the sidewalk
ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.

smoke blows black
And the dark street winds and

Wow! How did you get him to do that? It looks like you stuffed his cheeks with marshmallows. Ha!
Co-sleeper? Yes, we do things unconventionally too. Here's our story and bad example: co-sleeping was the ONLY way I could keep a full-time job and meet Charlotte's need to be with her mom (or, more likely her mom's breasts). So we did it. We did it for over a year, even after she was weaned from the breast. It was absolutely HORRIBLE trying to wean her from our bed. By 18 months she was finally sleeping in her own room on her own bed--not a crib. She'd panic whenever we put her in a crib. The bed worked because we could lay down by her to help her fall asleep then sneak away. But we've created a monster. She still wakes up at LEAST 3 times a night. Despite my resentments about Charlotte's night-time habits, we're on the same path with Freddie. ARG! What we do for our children! But truthfully, I'm not sure I could sleep well WITHOUT a baby:) Good luck, and when you figure it out, please share your tips!
